The Siberian massage is far more than a body treatment. It is a meditative ritual into which you sink gently through the healing touch of your therapist, attentive care for your body and authentic music. At our studio in Valencia (Quatre Carreres) the ritual lasts 90 minutes.
How the ritual unfolds
- Immersion. Your journey begins with a small welcome ritual: you are offered 25 ml of a unique alcohol-free taiga tincture with a touch of cedar oil. It warms you gently from within and sets the body up for rest. You lie down and let every thought go.
- Warmth and lightness. Hot pouches of fragrant cedar shavings are carefully placed on your back. You are covered with a soft blanket so the natural warmth can heat the muscles deeply. Meanwhile, the therapist gives a relaxing leg massage that melts away fatigue.
- Care for the back and arms. Once the body is prepared, the pouches are removed and a thorough back massage begins. The back is then covered with a hot towel and a blanket to keep the healing warmth in while the therapist works on your arms.
- Renewal and breath. The massage oil is gently wiped off with a hot towel. You turn onto your back, and the therapist releases the tension built up in the neck and softly kneads the chest muscles, helping you breathe fully.
- Absolute zen. Now comes the stage of deepest relaxation: a 30-minute reflexology massage of the feet. Every press helps the body reset and let go of the last traces of stress.
- Final harmony. Your feet are wrapped again in a hot towel and blanket, and the warm pouches of cedar shavings return to your chest muscles. You stay for another 10 minutes, dissolving completely into the sounds of mesmerising ethnic Altai music.
- Gentle awakening. The ritual ends with an unhurried return to reality. After the session a fragrant, freshly brewed taiga herb tea with natural honey awaits you, so you can sit, rest and hold on to this feeling of inner stillness.
Allow yourself to let go of control and trust this enveloping natural calm.
